Has anyone ever had a romantic relationship with someone who worked for a cruise line?

I was currently on a major cruie ship for a vacation, and I meet the this guy who was our waiter. I would notice how he would stare at me from across the room and always smile. He did say to me on our last night on the ship, that he hopes to see me in the before we leave, but I never went back down to the resturant. I was wondering do you think this kind of thing happends on cruises, where the staff and guest have a fling?
