Kimberly asked: My family went on a cruise to alaska last summer on vacation, and there were college kids working everywhere.
Once I start college, I’m going to need money. How much does the average college student working in alaska make over one summer, and how do you get into that?

Spanky Monkey asked: After withdrawing from college for medical reasons a year ago, i began working full time and no longer was a “dependant” on my parents, but now that my job is burning me out, i am much more motivated (”do or die”) to hit my classes hard this coming semester (i had to fight through alot of red tape to get back in). Unfortunately my parents no longer wish to pay for my college because i became non-dependent, but I will have to quit my night shift job in order to go to my classes non-zombie. So without a job, or health insurance, and with parents that earn in the $150k income bracket yet won’t pay for my college, how am i supposed to get any student loans or pay for college? Since i was earning $65k a year myself (working 84 hours a week!!) and my parents make sooo much but cant pay for my college because they are strapped so thin with the cruises and vacations they have to pay for, and now there’s NO money without my job or their help, how can i get any sort of student loans?
